I&#039;ve always thought that working remotely would certainly help in terms of limiting or containing distractions and providing a degree of focus that is hard in a work environment.  If all members of a group are on board with using  effectively social networking tools and IM chat, I think that can mitigate some of the adverse effects of missing out on &quot;water cooler talk.&quot;</description>
